U.S. House Will Vote to Condemn Recent Attacks on Colorado Pregnancy Centers

Greenwood Village, Colorado – Colorado GOP Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown released the following statement today regarding the Concurrent Resolution in Congress to condemn the attacks on pregnancy centers, co-sponsored by Congressman Buck and Congresswomen Boebert, along with over 100 of their colleagues.

"Pregnancy centers in Colorado are pillars of the community, often run by a volunteer team who offers practical help, emotional support, and financial assistance to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies.

In Colorado, we value family and we work to build beautiful futures for our own children and for all children. That's why it's hard to understand why Democrats like Gov. Jared Polis and Attorney General Phil Weiser never loudly condemned the attacks on Colorado's pregnancy centers and pro-life churches -- like Life Choices Pregnancy Center in Longmont that was set on fire in an act of domestic terrorism and like the pro-life church in Fort Collins that was damaged by vandals.

All Coloradans can agree that the work of pregnancy resource centers is vital to building a culture and a state that supports all families. Free pregnancy tests, STD testing, ultrasounds, parenting classes, and financial and emotional support is what PRCs offer, and it helps countless mothers and families choose life for their children.

Coloradans can find a pregnancy resource center near them by entering their zip code at Option Line. We can all spread the word that these centers are here to help all families and give them the support they need as they give life to their children."
