Trump Administration Iran Sanctions
- On Friday, President Trump announced new hard-hitting sanctions against Iran’s national bank.
- The sanctions are in response to the Iranian regime’s recent attack on Saudi Arabia and the regime’s continued efforts to destabilize the region. - This type of brazen attack is unacceptable, and the U.S. will continue its maximum pressure campaign against the Iranian regime.

- The new sanctions will help cut off financial support for the Iranian regime’s terrorism and ongoing regional aggression.
- The sanctions will target the Central Bank of Iran, the National Development Fund of Iran, and Etemad Tejarate Pars Co – a company which has been used to conceal military purchases.
- The National Development bank was established to allegedly help the people of Iran, but instead has been used as a slush fund to finance the regime’s campaign of terror.
- The Trump Administration continues to impose a maximum pressure campaign – including the historic sanctions - against the largest state sponsor of terror.
